The Education Authority requires Head teachers to report any suspected cases of child abuse. This includes non-accidental injury, severe neglect, emotional abuse and sexual abuse.
We believe that, where there are grounds for suspicion, it is better to be safe than sorry. We hope that parents will understand the delicate nature of this responsibility and that we will act in the best interests of the child. |
