St John’s Summer Festival of Wholeness & Belonging – FRIDAY 19th JULY

We would like to invite you all to join us in sharing and celebrating two of our Christian values on the afternoon of Friday 19th July at our very first St. John’s festival! Parents, carers and wider family members are all welcome to spend the afternoon with us. There will be ‘main stage performances’ throughout the afternoon as well as stalls, activities and a ‘Wholeness Field’, where there will be opportunities to focus on ourselves in mind, body and spiritually. We hope that you will all be able to join us for this afternoon.
School band
Our newly formed school band will ‘headline’ for the finale of the festival and are have begun rehearsing in preparation for this.
Auditions for ‘main stage’ performances
These will be held this Friday (5th July) at lunchtime. We have a talented ‘judging panel’ ready for these with musical, sporting, dance and dramatic expertise! All ‘performers’ are welcome to audition, individually, in pairs or groups.
We welcome volunteers from parents, carers and our school community: if you would like to volunteer to support in the organisation and running of the festival, please put your name down at our school office and we will get back to you with potential volunteer roles closer to the time.
Thank you in advance for your support with this, we really hope you can join us at the festival to share why wholeness and belonging are so important to us at St. John’s.
