As environmentalists, Year 2 will develop their fire skills where they will show humility, forgiveness and courage as they recreate the Great Fire of London.
They will demonstrate service and morality by growing herbs which will be used as ingredients for soup which will be

when faced with challenges. Their understanding of outdoor experiences will have increased and they will be confident in accessing familiar activities. To embed class learning pupils will use fire to replicate the Great Fire of London by making and burning 2D houses and explore the changing states of different materials on the fire. Making links to the story The Bakers Boy they will make Damper bread to cookover the fire.
