Last Friday St John's hosted the season's first Tag Rugby game, playing Winyates. Both teams showed exceptional teamwork and resilience. In the end the win went to Winyates, winning 13-9. We all want to say congratulations to the Winyates' team for playing so well and getting the season's first win!
Standouts were Ashley Ohiomojie who scored 6 of the 9 tries! We also saw fantastic leadership from Kerren Eben, even when faced with a tight scoring game she was able to rally her team and keep them focused.
The team will be looking forward to their next match where they will be facing either Beeches or Heritage Park.
