Grafham Day 2

Writer's picture: Lucy KentLucy Kent
Although the weather was against us, every child took part in outdoor activities with a smile on their face and a positive attitude. It was wonderful to see them rise to the challenges and succeed as a team.

In bushcraft the children made bread on a fire. The children had to design and built a house for a bug of their choice.

During the power boating activity, the children had an opportunity to control the boat during some adverse weather showing bravery and courage.

Children have learnt the skills of archery. The children had to understand the importance of safety and the strength to fire the arrows with accuracy.

Activities: bushcraft, rock climbing, abseiling, team building exercise, power boating and archery.
