After working at St John's for many years I can certainly say that no two years have been the same! I have spent time teaching in years 3, 5, 1 and Reception. I love working with children, their creativity and enthusiasm brings me so much joy. In EYFS I love observing my children learn, grow and be inspired by what is around them. I believe that all children have the potential to be fantastic learners, and it is a privilege to get to be their teacher!

When I was younger I had the most inspirational Year 2 teacher and would go home and pretend to be just like her whilst playing schools with my friends. From then I knew I wanted to be a teacher, hopeful to make a difference and encourage children to develop a love of learning, just like I did. I love teaching in the early years, watching the youngest learners grow and flourish as they learn through play, learning something new every day!
