Learning the properties of 3D shapes

In year 2, we have been exploring materials and their properties.

This week we looked at two key words: natural and manmade. We explored what these words meant and then sorted some materials into these 2 categories. The children then labelled each material with a property. For example, they identified that a water bottle was manmade and this was plastic, waterproof and smooth.
