'Random Acts of Wildness'

The children had a wonderful time creating a bird picnic using berries that they found outside. Some of the things children said while doing the activity showed great empathy for the birds. As a class we looked for large red berries as they thought the birds would like them the best. Several children used their knowledge to dig for juicy worms as birds do like to feast on the occasional worm or two!! Once we had gathered our berries the children sprinkled them along the path so that the birds could see them easily. I was very impressed with the children and how they applied the Christian Values of hope, love and caring for others when completing their "Random Act of Wildness".
