Year 4 Making Their Own Earth

Writer's picture: Simon HollingsworthSimon Hollingsworth

Year 4 are discovering how our planet is made from different Layers.

Did you know you are standing on tectonic plates that are constantly moving?Amazing I know!

Not only that, but the Earth is made from a number of different layers. We have learnt about coiling, rolling and pinching clay to help us create a teddy bear, before we start our model of the Earth. Look foward to more news as our models become replicas of the Earth you are standing on!
