Year 5 & the Art of debate

This week, we have been learning how to debate. We have carefully planned our debate around the statement 'The Industrial Revolution was a positive movement'.

We were split into two sides and, with careful thought, we put forward our arguments. As a class, we decided that despite that hardships Victorians faced, it was a positive movement as our lives would likely not look the same today had it not happened!
