Celebrating this year and thinking ahead to next year!

Dear Parents and Carers,

You should all have received your child's end of year report this morning, via the email address we hold for you in school - we are sure that you will be celebrating your child's successes, looking back at all they have achieved this year, despite the challenges we have all faced. More than ever, the success of your children's education this year has been a joint responsibility between home and school and we should all be so proud of what has been achieved together, as a community, for the children of St. John's - thank you! If you have not received your child's e-report, please call the school office to check the email address we hold for you.

Thinking ahead to next year, we are busy preparing the (much anticipated!) transition postcards, which will be 'e-postcards' this year - including video messages! You will receive an email link to these next week. This email will also detail the arrangements which have been made for your child's new class on their return to school in September, including their start and finish time and which gate they will need to be dropped off at and picked up from. All children will be 'back to school', as previously planned, on Monday 7th September, but there will be staggered start and finish times for all year groups in order to maintain year group 'bubbles' within our 'Covid Safe' arrangements.

We will also share a poster on our school website next week, showing what will be different in school, from September - we hope that this will help both you, and your children, successfully prepare for returning to school.

The last day of this school year will be next Friday, 17th July, and our school office will also close on this date. Should you need to make contact with school after this date, you can do so via our office email address:  office@stjohnschurchschool.net
