On April 22nd 2022, Year 4 spoke in class about the importance of having an impact during Earth Day.
The children were excited about playing a part in the day and understood the fact that if we all make a little change, this will make a big difference to our planet. In class, we turned all of the electrical items off where possible and thought about if we could do more. We decided that we would clean the school playground of rubbish and help protect our local environment. It was amazing to see the children wanting to make a difference and the way they embraced the task with a positive attitude. As a result of their efforts, the playground looks 100% better and hopefully others will want to help us to keep it clean, everyone did an amazing job!
