Dear Parents
Many of you will have just heard the news from Boris Johnson that from tonight schools will be closed to all children except the most vulnerable and to key workers children. This may have come as a surprise to some since Boris had said on Sunday that primary schools would remain open, but in a global pandemic things can clearly change very rapidly.
As yet no guidance from the Government has been published and therefore schools will be navigating this new information as they hear it.
Across Peterborough and Cambridgeshire schools will be taking time tomorrow to organise and plan the remote learning that will be required and putting in place plans for the children of key workers and vulnerable children. Therefore schools will not be open to any children tomorrow. I realise for many this will prove frustrating and difficult.
Tomorrow we will be clarifying which children will require a place in school, please bear with us and we will be in touch, there is no need to email in to us.
