PLANTS CLOSE UP
This morning while I was watering my plants I noticed that my Hydrangea buds had started to open.
On closer inspection I was surprised at how much it resembled a head of cauliflower!! This made me very excited and immediately I imagined a family of tiny people making my Hydrangea their home and using the cauliflower in their Sunday roast!!
My imagination ran away with me and before I knew it I had decided that the family had escaped from the other side of the garden as their home in the flower bed had been taken over by giant snails!! FUN FACT 1: The Hydrangea is native to Japan FUN FACT 2: The acid from Hydrangea leaves is being investigated as a possible anti-diabetic drug as it can lower blood sugar levels
