How have you all 'Bean' :o)

Whilst out on my very early morning walk, as the sun was rising, I came across a goose and her babies ( Goslings ) swimming happily across the lake.

I also spotted a male duck asleep on one leg! It’s at times like this that I have really stopped to notice the amazing animals around us!

Fun facts about geese!

1) Contrary to common misconceptions, most geese are friendly and dedicated to their owners. Not only will they form lifelong bonds with the feathered partners, but they can be equally dedicated to the person who raises them!

2) Goose is actually the term for female geese, male geese are called ganders. A group of geese on land or in water are a gaggle, while in the air they are called a skein!
