New skills are 'par' for the course

Year 3 children in Mrs Curtis' PE group have had the exciting opportunity of learning how to master golf skills in their PE lesson on a Thursday. The children have been learning basic skills, such as grip, stance and swing. The children showcased their excellent resilience and readiness; and as a result everyone in the group have been hitting the ball with great skill.

Last week the children started to learn how to use a putter, which is a club used to hit the golf ball into the hole when you reach the green. This shot requires skill, accuracy and perseverance which the children demonstrated great resilience with.

The children have so far been a credit to the school and their behaviour has been impeccable. Keep up the excellent work Year 3!
