Harvest Celebration of Caring and Belonging

On Friday 18th October, we celebrated our harvest festival at Christ Church. We thought about the importance of the items we had collected for Food Bank and consequently those in need in our city.

We focused on how we are 'one body with many parts' (1 Corinthians-Chapter 12) and how we can work together to care for those who belong with us in Peterborough. We realised that when one part of a body suffers the whole body is affected and we hope that in gathering our harvest we can bring healing and wholeness to others.

Thanks to your wonderful generosity, we sent 283.3 kg of food to the food bank. It is a privilege to be part of this caring Christian environment that enables us the opportunity to show love and belonging in action.
