Dear Parents.

I hope you found yesterday's email reassuring and that whatever decision you make we will support you. The fine detail of our plans will be finalised next week and we will let you know as soon as possible. The poster we have devised gives you an idea about how we will be keeping your children safe and what may be different. I think you will find it clear and easy to read. Today Chris Witty the Chief medical officer is meeting with the DFE and unions to lay out the scientific evidence, we hope to hear more of that soon. We have been closely watching how other countries are opening schools and learning from them.  On Monday we will be sending out a questionnaire to gather numbers ready for the start of half term on June 1st. We will be closing St Johns Church School to all children during half term as all staff prepare for the next phase of schooling.  Wishing you all a safe weekend. Best regards, Mrs Firth
