On Tuesday 1st of July, Mrs. Trolove and two Year 6 finalists attended the national final of the Routes Into Languages Spanish Primary Bee at the University of Cambridge.
The children represented our school incredibly well and thoroughly enjoyed the competition - especially when we got to watch the amazing French and German finalists!
Over 3,000 children started the competition, so our students did incredibly well to be in the last 30 for Spanish nationally. There were also 3 other Peterborough schools at the final so it's great to see languages being celebrated across the local area. Mrs. Trolove was also invited to be a judge this year which was a challenge she thoroughly enjoyed. None of this would have been possible without the children's hard work both in school and at home, congratulations to everyone!
