'Windows' and 'open doors' into school-life this term!
The children and staff have very much enjoyed being back in each other's company after the half-term break and we are looking forward to sharing all they have achieved in school this year so far, with you. We have a number of opportunities planned this half term for you to 'look into', and join in with, life in school.
The first 'window' is the videos that Mr Hollingsworth created of each class to explain why their class animal has been chosen this year, which are posted below - enjoy!
The second is the opportunity to meet with your child's teacher online for parents evenings on Tuesday 22nd November, Wednesday 23rd November and Thursday 24th November 2022 - further details about how to sign up for a meeting will be sent out next week.
In addition to these, we would also like to 'open doors', and invite you into school to spend a morning in class with your child. This will be a wonderful opportunity for you to see your children completing early morning work, reflect on their learning, have a look through their books and have a chance to see their learning environment 'in person'.
The dates and times for these are below:
Reception: Thursday 8th December 2022, 8.40am to 9.25am
Year 1: Tuesday 29th November 2022, 8.40am to 9.25am
Year 2: Wednesday 30th November 2022, 8.40am to 9.25am
Year 3: Friday 2nd December 2022, 8.30am to 9.15am
Year 4: Tuesday 6th December 2022, 8.30am to 9.15am
Year 5: Wednesday 7th December 2022, 8.30am to 9.15am
Year 6: Thursday 1st December 2022, 8.30am to 9.15am
We do hope you enjoy 'looking into' life in school and very much look forward to welcoming you into school to be part of school life during the open mornings too.
Mrs Foster
